Perched atop a historic building in Berlin-Wilmersdorf, this 250-square-meter penthouse redefines the concept of modern urban living. The design language is strictly minimal, anchored by wide planks of solid Douglas Fir that run throughout the main floor, bringing a warm, organic rhythm to the expansive open space.
Materiality serves as the primary ornament. Silver Travertine creates a sculptural dialogue between the custom fireplace unit and the staircase leading to the roof terrace, while the bathrooms are enveloped in the timeless purity of Carrara marble. A sophisticated, soft lighting scheme was curated to enhance these textures, creating an atmosphere of quiet luxury and serenity.
